Back Marti Pujolras to win at 2.88, and consider over 21.5 total games and over 8.5 double faults.

Context

Napolitano, 29, is ranked 229 and has a career win rate of 54%. He has struggled recently, winning only 4 of his last 15 matches.
His last 15 matches include three retirements, most recently on September 1 against Henry Bernet. That pattern suggests he may not be fully fit, which could affect his ability to compete over a full match. Marti Pujolras, who is in better recent form, could benefit if Napolitano's physical issues resurface.
- Napolitano has retired in 3 of his last 15 matches (September 1 vs Bernet, July 20 vs Piros, June 17 vs Rincon).
- His overall record in the last 15 matches is 4-11.
- He lost his most recent clay match to Stefano Travaglia on September 8.
Marti Pujolras, 27, is ranked 506 and has spent most of his career on clay, with 366 career wins on the surface.
In the last 15 matches, Marti Pujolras has a 57.1% win rate on clay compared to Napolitano's 33.3%. Marti Pujolras also has a higher total points won percentage on clay (50.7% vs 47.8%). This suggests he is more comfortable and effective on this surface, which could give him an advantage in this matchup.
- Marti Pujolras' last 14 clay matches: 8 wins, 6 losses.
- Napolitano's last 9 clay matches: 3 wins, 6 losses.
- Marti Pujolras' clay total points won: 50.7%; Napolitano's: 47.8%.
Napolitano's career first serve percentage is 60%, but in his last 15 matches it has dropped to 58.4%. His return points won is 36.6%, below his career 39%.
On clay, Napolitano's first serve points won is 65.1% and second serve points won is 46.5%, both lower than Marti Pujolras' 69% and 43.6% respectively. Napolitano also converts only 37.8% of break points overall, which limits his ability to capitalize on opportunities. These weaknesses could allow Marti Pujolras to stay in rallies and create more chances.
- Napolitano's last 15 matches: first serve in 58.4%, return points won 36.6%.
- Napolitano's break point conversion in last 15: 37.8%.
- Marti Pujolras' clay first serve points won: 69%; Napolitano's: 65.1%.
Napolitano, 30, is the defending Biella champion and third seed, but he retired in his first-round match in Como on 1 September.
He completed a match in Genoa on 8 September, so the retirement does not prove a current physical problem for this match. His recent record of 0 wins from 5 tracked matches still makes his reliability a question.
- The Como first-round record lists Napolitano as retired at 0-3 against Henry Bernet on 1 September.
- His next listed singles match, against Stefano Travaglia on 8 September, was completed.
- Stored recent sample: 0 wins from 5 tracked matches.
- A tracked match on 2026-09-01T00:00:00.000Z against Henry Bernet ended by retirement; the stored result was L.
