Quick Take

Pre-match view

Context last updated 1 Sep 2026, 15:09 · Europe/Bucharest

Olle Wallin is the clear favorite based on superior recent clay form and serve metrics, with a 62% win probability.

Betting value lies in Wallin to win at odds of 2.38, and the total games over 21.5 is a reasonable angle. Nikles could push a set, but Wallin's resilience in deciding sets gives him the edge.

Context

Wallin, 24, is a right-hander from Sweden ranked 414. He has built a 20-10 clay record in 2026 and is comfortable on this surface.
Wallin's recent clay numbers are clearly better: 78.6% match wins and 52.5% total points won versus Nikles' 46.7% and 49.3%. Nikles has also lost to lower-ranked opponents like Walid Ahouda and Yannik Kelm, while Wallin's wins include a victory over Roberto Carballes Baena. This suggests Wallin enters with a meaningful form edge on clay.
- Wallin last 15 on clay: 11-3 record, 52.5% total points won.
- Nikles last 15 on clay: 7-8 record, 49.3% total points won.
- Wallin beat No. 209 Carballes Baena in July; Nikles lost to No. 812 Ahouda in July.
Wallin's height (191 cm) helps him generate more power on serve than the 173 cm Nikles.
Wallin's first serve is a clear advantage: he wins 73.7% of first-serve points on clay compared to Nikles' 62.5%. Nikles' low ace count (0.9 per match) means he relies more on rallies, which could be tougher against Wallin's serve plus one. If Wallin serves well, he can control points from the start.
- Wallin clay: 5.7 aces per match, 73.7% first-serve points won.
- Nikles clay: 0.9 aces per match, 62.5% first-serve points won.
