Context last updated 26 Sep 2026, 03:12 · Europe/Bucharest

Top seed Droguet (No. 84) meets fourth seed Prizmic (No. 101) for a place in the Saint-Tropez final, and the market has the lower-ranked Prizmic as the 1.6 favourite.

Droguet's 12-3 hard-court record and 11 wins in his last 12 matches point the other way, and his prices are the ones that hold up: 2.2 to win the match, 2.1 to win each of the first two sets.

Context

The run behind those numbers is what separates it from an ordinary week: Droguet won in Cassis, reached the semifinal in Rennes, and is now the top seed in a third consecutive French Challenger. The offsetting factor is court time, since he needed three sets in his first two matches in Saint-Tropez. The ranking consequence gives this match extra weight for him, because the top 75 is in range and he cleared the top 100 for the first time only two weeks ago.
- Won 11 of his last 12 matches
- Beat Mark Lajal 6-4, 7-6(1) in the quarterfinal
- Sixth semifinal of 2026
- Top seed at the ATP 125 Saint-Tropez Open

The milestone matters less as a number than as a change in status: before Cassis he had spent roughly six months at No. 106-107, and the title moved him past a barrier that had shaped his season. It also puts him in a different bracket from much of a Challenger field, though the ranking gap to Prizmic is only about seventeen places, so the breakthrough does not remove the closeness of this matchup. He is still climbing rather than established at the level.
- Won the Challenger 75 in Cassis
- Beat Mark Lajal in the Cassis final
- First entry into the ATP top 100, at No. 89
- 91st French player to reach the ATP top 100

Prizmic is ranked No. 101 but has already been as high as No. 70, so a Challenger semifinal is a rebuilding result rather than a surprise. His 2026 season has been uneven, with only seven wins in his previous 15 matches, and most of those defeats came against higher-ranked opponents. Reaching a final here would be the first sustained sign this season that he is close to the level that took him into the top 70.
- Beat Daniil Glinka 7-6(4), 7-5 in the quarterfinal
- Fourth seed at the ATP 125 Saint-Tropez Open
- Second semifinal of 2026
ConfirmedSources checked 26 Sep 2026, 03:10 · Europe/Bucharest
The Davis Cup week gave Prizmic competitive singles on a big occasion five days before this match: a win over the top-70 ranked Altmaier, then a heavy loss to the world No. 2 in the rubber that decided the tie. He moved from indoor hard in Germany to outdoor hard on the French Riviera with a single rest day before his first match in Saint-Tropez. The counterpoint is that the tie ended in defeat and Croatia's elimination, so the week is mixed evidence of current form.
- Beat Daniel Altmaier 6-4, 6-3 to level the tie at 1-1
- Lost to Alexander Zverev 6-2, 6-4 in 77 minutes
- Germany won the qualifier 3-1; Croatia eliminated
