Dellavedova is a justified favorite over Heck, with superior hard-court form, ranking, and return metrics supporting a match-winner bet at 1.30.

Context

Dellavedova, 28, is the higher-ranked player at No. 268 and plays right-handed with a one-handed backhand. Heck, 24, is ranked No. 700 and plays right-handed with a two-handed backhand.
Dellavedova's 73.3% win rate over the last 15 hard-court matches is built on 68.7% first-serve points won and 50.5% break points converted. Heck's 46.7% record in the same window comes with a lower 59.7% first-serve rate and 2.7 double faults per match. The gap in recent results is the clearest match-shaping factor, though both samples are Challenger-level and Heck's four straight wins this week show he is not out of form.
- Dellavedova last 15 hard-court matches: 11-4 (73.3%), 23 of 33 sets won, 59.2% games won.
- Heck last 15 hard-court matches: 7-8 (46.7%), 17 of 34 sets won, 50.5% games won.
- Dellavedova last 15: 68.7% first-serve points won, 50.5% break points converted, 1.4 double faults per match.
- Heck last 15: 59.7% first-serve in, 69.9% first-serve points won, 2.7 double faults per match.
Heck is unranked inside the top 600 but has played most of his 2026 season on hard courts, going 32-14 at that level. Dellavedova entered this event with a 63-24 hard-court record in 2026.
Heck's run includes a 3-6 6-1 7-6(6) win over Pavlovic, the highest-ranked opponent either player has beaten this week. Dellavedova's two wins came against opponents ranked No. 430 and No. 879. Heck has more match sharpness on this court, but the ranking gap and Dellavedova's stronger overall hard-court season keep the form edge with the Australian.
- Heck won four consecutive matches in Phan Thiet from September 13 to 16, dropping one set in the last three rounds.
- Heck beat No. 196 Luka Pavlovic 3-6 6-1 7-6(6) in the round of 16.
- Dellavedova won two matches in Phan Thiet, against No. 430 Enzo Aguiard and No. 879 Grigoriy Lomakin.
- Dellavedova's 2026 hard-court record is 63-24; Heck's is 32-14.
Both players have similar career return-points-won rates around 41%, so the recent 15-match window is the more relevant guide.
Dellavedova's 42.8% return points won and 50.5% break points converted give him more ways to pressure Heck's serve. Heck's 58.5% break points saved is a counterweight, but he faces more break points because of a lower first-serve rate. The return gap is modest but consistent with Dellavedova's stronger recent results.
- Dellavedova last 15 hard-court matches: 42.8% return points won, 50.5% break points converted.
- Heck last 15 hard-court matches: 39.5% return points won, 49.4% break points converted.
- Heck saved 58.5% of break points faced, but faced 94 break points in 15 matches.
- Dellavedova faced 55 break points in 15 matches and saved 52.7%.

The read
Dellavedova's straight-set tendency and Heck's low deciding-set conversion (Core 5 signals 2-3) make a two-set finish the modal outcome, though Heck's three-set win over Pavlovic keeps this at medium confidence.
- Dellavedova's last 15 Hard matches: 23 sets won / 33 played, with 11 wins in 15 matches, several in straight sets.
- Heck's last 15 Hard matches: 17 sets won / 34 played, with 7 wins in 15 matches, including multiple straight-set losses.
- Dellavedova's 2026 Hard record of 63-24 suggests he usually avoids extended three-set battles at this level.
- Heck's deciding-set win rate is only 36% career, so if it goes long he is the less likely closer.

The read
Dellavedova's superior set-win rate and Heck's habit of dropping sets (Core 5 signals 2-3) favor a straight-set Dellavedova win, but Heck's recent three-set resilience keeps this at medium confidence.
- Dellavedova's last 15 Hard matches: 11 wins, with 23 sets won against only 10 sets lost (69.7% set rate).
- Heck's last 15 Hard matches: 7 wins but 17 sets lost, showing he frequently drops sets even in wins.
- Dellavedova's Phan Thiet wins were 6-3 6-1 and 4-6 6-3 6-3, showing he can close in straight sets when serving well.
- Heck's three-set win over Pavlovic (3-6 6-1 7-6(6)) shows he can extend matches, capping this probability.
