Quick Take

Pre-match view

Context last updated 30 Aug 2026, 03:49 · Europe/Bucharest

Schoenhaus holds a clear form and clay-court edge over Guillen Meza, with better win rates and serve metrics.

However, the odds on Schoenhaus to win the match or first set are overpriced, offering no value. Avoid straight-set bets; the match could be closer than expected, but Schoenhaus remains the likely winner.

Context

Guillen Meza, 281st, is a clay-court specialist with 188 career wins on the surface but has struggled recently.
His last 13 clay matches show only three wins, and his last five completed matches were losses. This poor run suggests he may struggle to impose his usual clay game against Schoenhaus.
- Last 13 clay matches: 3 wins, 10 losses.
- Last five completed clay matches: all losses.
- Only win in that stretch came via retirement against Buvaysar Gadamauri.
Schoenhaus, 317th, has a 50% win rate on clay in his last 14 matches and has beaten higher-ranked opponents.
His recent clay form is stronger than Guillen Meza's, and he has shown he can compete with top-100 players. This gives him a slight edge in current form.
- Last 14 clay matches: 7 wins, 7 losses.
- Beat Roman Andres Burruchaga (ranked 59) 6-3 6-3 in July.
- Also beat Hugo Dellien (ranked 140) 6-3 7-5 in June.
Schoenhaus's serve is a key weapon, especially on clay where he can use it to win free points.
His higher ace count and first-serve points won suggest he can hold serve more easily. Guillen Meza's lower numbers may put more pressure on his service games.
- Schoenhaus: 4.9 aces per match on clay, 68.8% first-serve points won.
- Guillen Meza: 2.8 aces per match on clay, 63% first-serve points won.
- Schoenhaus also has a higher second-serve points won percentage (54.8% vs 46.3%).
