Quick Take

Pre-match view

Context last updated 28 Oct 2026, 03:41 · Europe/Bucharest

The tension is whether Altmaier's stronger second-set record can stretch a match Lehecka is favoured to win.

Lehecka's serve and ranking make him the likely winner, but the 1.12 match price asks for 89.3% and offers no value. The prices with room are over 23.5 total games at 2.6, Altmaier to win the second set at 3.8, Altmaier to win the match at 6.0 and Lehecka 2-1 at 4.0; Lehecka 2-0 at 1.5 and his 1.22 set prices do not.

Context

, Altmaier completed a three-set Basel win after losing the opening set to Cerundolo. It puts him into this fixture with a current-event route that included two tiebreak sets. That is relevant tournament context for a match scheduled three days later. The supplied result establishes a normal completion but gives no match-duration or availability detail.
- Altmaier recovered from a set down and won both later sets in tiebreak-influenced fashion.

Lehecka's win over Wawrinka is his most recent supplied Basel result before facing Altmaier. The 7-5, 7-6 score records a two-set passage through a close match and provides the immediate route into this fixture. It also places his last match one day later than Altmaier's listed third-round match. The supplied evidence does not provide match duration or any availability information.
- Lehecka won a tight second-set tiebreak to complete the match in two sets.
ReportedSources checked 28 Oct 2026, 03:38 · Europe/BucharestTennis Majors match recordwww.tennismajors.com · 27 Oct 2026
Altmaier has repeatedly conceded the opening set in this window, so he may need to come from behind again. The sample is only 14 matches, but the pattern is stark enough to make a fast start against Lehecka difficult. His second-set record is level at 7-7, which shows he can recover, but the first set remains the main obstacle.
- 14 hard-court matches tracked from 14 August to 26 October 2026.
- First-set record: 3 wins, 11 losses.
- Average first-set games: 4.8 won, 5.7 lost.
The gap between Lehecka's first-set and second-set records suggests opponents have found a way back into the match after losing the opener. For Altmaier, that middle set is the clearest opening in the scoreline. The sample is 12 matches, so it is a pattern rather than a rule, but it makes a straight-set Lehecka win less automatic.
- 12 hard-court matches tracked from 18 September to 27 October 2026.
- First-set record: 10 wins, 2 losses.
- Second-set record: 7 wins, 5 losses; average 5.6 games won and 4.7 lost.
