Quick Take

Pre-match view

Context last updated 27 Oct 2026, 20:12 · Europe/Bucharest

The better recent record belongs to Yaneva; the deeper hard-court evidence and the left-handed serve belong to Selekhmeteva, and their last meeting went three sets.

Yaneva is the fair pick to win, but 1.65 asks more than that case supports, and Over 19.5 games at 1.5 and Under 2.5 sets at 1.5 are no better. Selekhmeteva to take the second set at 2.1 is the one price that offers something.

Context

Their July Rome meeting is the most recent direct match reference for this fixture. Its set sequence shows that Yaneva solved the matchup after Selekhmeteva controlled the opening set. It took place on a different event and surface setting from Courmayeur's indoor hard court, so it is context rather than a standalone projection for the rematch.
- Yaneva recovered from a 1-6 opening set to defeat Selekhmeteva 6-3, 6-2 in the next two sets.

Selekhmeteva is the higher-ranked player at No. 101 and plays left-handed.
The split matters because first sets have been the weaker part of her hard-court record, while the second set is where she has stayed closest. It rests on ten matches, not a fixed habit, and Yaneva's only hard-court match here was a 6-2 6-2 win in 16 games. Read it as a description of the sample rather than a forecast for the opening set.
- Across 10 hard-court matches from 12 August to 27 October 2026, Selekhmeteva won four first sets and six second sets.
- Her second sets averaged 10.7 games with four tiebreaks; her first sets averaged 9.1 games with none.
The Pieri match supplies the immediate route into this fixture and confirms that Yaneva has already competed on Courmayeur's indoor hard court. The one-sided score gives context to her place in the round of 16. Pieri was ranked No. 350 in the match scratch, so this result alone does not establish how Yaneva will fare against the higher-ranked Selekhmeteva.
- Yaneva defeated Pieri 6-2, 6-2 in the preceding Courmayeur round.

The Nagy match identifies Selekhmeteva's route into this round and shows she has already played at the venue. It is relevant tournament context for a match scheduled the following day. Nagy was ranked No. 441 in the match scratch, which limits the result's value as a direct comparison with Yaneva.
- Selekhmeteva defeated Nagy 6-4, 6-2 in the preceding Courmayeur round.
