Context last updated 8 Sep 2026, 15:25 · Europe/Bucharest

Clara Burel holds a moderate edge over Katerina Tsygourova due to better break-point saving and Tsygourova's qualifying fatigue.

The match is likely to be competitive, with strong value on Over 2.5 sets at odds of 7.50, as the model gives it a 58% chance versus the implied 13.3%. Burel is favored to win, but the best betting angle is the total sets market.

Context

Tsygourova, ranked 394, has played exclusively on clay in her last 15 matches and holds a 66.7% win rate in that span.
Burel, ranked 416, has a 61.5% clay win rate over her last 13 matches but lost her most recent match to Fiona Ferro. Tsygourova's recent wins include a straight-set victory over Madison Sieg, while Burel's last loss came after a three-set battle. The form gap is modest and both players have similar overall clay success, so this is not a decisive edge.

- The 7 September qualifying final against Madison Sieg lasted 1h37.
- Stored recent sample: 2 wins from 5 tracked matches.
