Context last updated 2 Nov 2026, 15:09 · Europe/Bucharest

A 209-place ranking gap says Solana Sierra should control this Cali clay first round, but her clay evidence covers only three matches and Selena Janicijevic has won 7 of 13 first sets.

Sierra's 1.29 first-set price and 1.22 match price ask for more than that record gives. Over 21.5 games at 2.3 and Janicijevic to win at 4.25 are the two prices with something behind them.

Context

No news or availability findings were returned. The assessment rests on 13 completed clay matches for Janicijevic, three for Sierra, and a 209-place ranking gap.

Janicijevic's clay record is 6-7 across 13 completed matches from 22 July to 1 November 2026. She won 7 of 13 first sets but only 4 of 13 second sets, averaging 3.0 games won against 5.3 games lost in the second. That split helps explain why her matches so often reach a third set and why her total sits at 22.8 games on average.
- 13 completed clay matches, 22 July to 1 November 2026.
- Scorelines: 2-1 four times, 1-2 three times, 2-0 twice, 0-2 four times.
- First sets 7-6; second sets 4-9 with 3.0 games won and 5.3 lost on average.
- Total games average 22.8 across those 13 matches.
All three of Sierra's completed clay matches came in a four-day window from 27 to 30 October 2026, so the base is narrow. She opened with 6-3 against Justina Maria Gonzalez Daniele, 7-6 against Gabriela Ce and 6-1 against Julia Riera, a 6.3-to-3.3 first-set game average. Two of the three went the distance, including the Riera loss, which is why the games tally runs high.
- Three completed clay matches, 27-30 October 2026.
- First sets won 3-0, with a 6.3 to 3.3 game average.
- Results: 6-3 6-1 win over Gonzalez Daniele, 7-6 3-6 6-4 win over Ce, 6-1 4-6 5-7 loss to Riera.
- Total games average 25.7 across the three matches.
The window covers 15 matches, so 6.8 double faults per match is a pattern rather than one bad day. Sierra landed 57.4% of first serves, won 61.7% of first-serve points but only 42.5% of second-serve points across that span. On clay the double-fault rate was 4.7 per match over three matches, so the serve held up better in the most recent and surface-specific evidence, while Janicijevic has no aggregate return data available to test it against.
- 15 matches tracked in the last-15 window; 102 double faults, 6.8 per match.
- First serve in 57.4%; first-serve points won 61.7%; second-serve points won 42.5%.
- Clay split: 14 double faults in three matches, 4.7 per match, 27-30 October 2026.
