Pre-match view

Context last updated 27 Oct 2026, 03:30 · Europe/Bucharest

Ranking says Erika Andreeva, recent results say it is closer: No. 182 meets No.

363 Yelyzaveta Kotliar indoors, and Kotliar owns the better ledger across the last 13 tracked matches, 8-5 to 6-7. Andreeva's wins have come against stronger opposition, which is why she is the reasonable favourite, but that read is low confidence and no quoted price was on the board to weigh.

Context

Andreeva, ranked No. 182, spent late September and early October beating players ranked well inside the top 200.
Her six listed matches from 29 September to 13 October 2026 include straight-sets wins over No. 125 Waltert, No. 154 Iatcenko and No. 190 Pridankina. Kotliar's recent wins came against No. 630, No. 645 and an unranked player. That difference in the quality of beaten opposition is the main reason Andreeva is favoured, though she also lost to No. 233 and No. 255 in the same stretch.
- Simona Waltert (No. 125) beaten 6-3 6-1 on 30 September 2026.
- Polina Iatcenko (No. 154) beaten 6-3 6-2 on 29 September 2026; Elena Pridankina (No. 190) beaten 1-6 6-1 6-3 on 2 October 2026.
- Window of six listed matches, 29 September to 13 October 2026; Andreeva is 6-7 across 13 tracked matches in her recent aggregate.
Kotliar has won more than she has lost lately despite sitting 181 places below her opponent in the rankings.
The aggregate covers 13 tracked matches with two retirements excluded, a small sample. Kotliar also won three of her last six listed matches, including 6-1 6-1 over Antonina Sushkova on 21 October 2026. Those wins, though, came against opponents ranked No. 630 or lower or unranked, and she lost to No. 490 and No. 533. The ledger says she is competitive; it does not show a win over anyone near Andreeva's level.
- Kotliar recent aggregate: 8 wins, 5 losses across 13 tracked matches, with two retirements excluded; Andreeva is 6-7 across 13.
- Antonina Sushkova beaten 6-1 6-1 on 21 October 2026; Masha Lazarenko (No. 630) beaten 6-0 4-6 6-4 on 22 October 2026; Alja Senica (No. 645) beaten 6-4 7-6 on 26 October 2026.
- Losses to Celia Cervino Ruiz (No. 490) 5-7 4-6 on 10 October 2026 and Kayo Nishimura (No. 533) on 23 October 2026.
Kotliar has the more recent match play on the record, 13 days after Andreeva's last listed outing.
The two latest match dates are 26 October 2026 for Kotliar and 13 October 2026 for Andreeva, and neither line says anything about training or travel. Kotliar needed a tiebreak to close out a player ranked No. 645, so the straight-sets win was not emphatic. Andreeva's last outing went 7-5 1-6 4-6 against No. 233 Koevermans, her second three-set loss in the window. Neither should be read as a statement about condition for this match.
- Kotliar beat Alja Senica (No. 645) 6-4 7-6 on 26 October 2026.
- Andreeva lost 7-5 1-6 4-6 to Anouk Koevermans (No. 233) on 13 October 2026.
- Latest match dates: Kotliar 26 October 2026, Andreeva 13 October 2026; no completed same-surface set evidence exists for either player.
