Quick Take

Pre-match view

Context last updated 28 Sep 2026, 15:21 · Europe/Bucharest

Eikeri has taken two of 23 sets across 11 hard-court matches and meets a left-hander ranked 463 places above her, so Lepchenko should win, most likely in straight sets.

The one reviewed price with an edge is Eikeri to win the match at 26, where the payout sits far above the roughly 4% chance those odds imply. The set-two prices — Lepchenko at 1.36 and Eikeri at 2.9 — both ask more than the records support.

Context

Eikeri's recent hard-court record is the thinnest part of her case in Beijing.
The same 11-match window shows 36.1% of games won and an 0-11 mark in second sets, so her matches have tended to finish without a long contest. Ten of the 11 defeats came in straight sets. The sample is small and stretches over nearly three years, which limits how firmly it predicts this particular match, but it describes a player who has rarely stayed level on this surface.
- Eikeri is 1-10 with 36.1% of games won across 11 hard-court matches (1 Nov 2023 to 19 Sep 2026).
- She has won 2 of 23 sets in that window, including 0 of 11 second sets.
- Scorelines show 10 of 11 defeats in straight sets, with her one win coming in three sets.
Lepchenko's recent hard-court matches have lasted longer than the scorelines might suggest.
She averaged 2.5 sets and 23.75 games per match across that window, and sits 1-3 in the deciders, so the third set has more often gone against her. Her first sets were split 4-4 while her second sets fell to 2-6, a pattern of matches that stay close early and drift later. The period covers only about seven weeks of play, so it is a snapshot rather than a settled habit.
- Eight hard-court matches tracked from 25 Jul to 13 Sep 2026, averaging 2.5 sets and 23.75 games.
- Four of the eight went to a third set: three 1-2 defeats and one 2-1 win.
- First sets went 4-4 and second sets 2-6 over the same eight matches.
Eikeri's serving numbers are the softest part of her game going into this match.
Six-plus double faults a match and 35% of second-serve points won mean free points are available in her service games, which works against the one clean serving spell her route into this match depends on. Her wider recent sample stands at 2 wins and 13 losses from 15 tracked matches. The serve figures come from 11 of those matches rather than the full run, so this is a broad view rather than a precise one.
- Eikeri has 68 double faults in the 11 matches with serve data in her recent sample, an average of 6.2 per match.
- She wins 35% of second-serve points in that sample.
- Her recent record in the wider sample is 2 wins and 13 losses from 15 tracked matches.
Lepchenko's latest hard-court outing was a competitive result against a higher-ranked opponent.
She dropped the opening set, took the second 6-1 and lost the decider 7-5, a scoreline that shows she can hold her level across three sets against a top-70 player. Against an opponent ranked 647, that is a more encouraging reference point than her own ranking alone. It was still a defeat, and a single match only goes so far in describing current form.
- On 13 Sep 2026 Lepchenko lost 3-6 6-1 5-7 to Alycia Parks, ranked 70, on hard court.
- The match went to a deciding set, with set scores of 3-6, 6-1 and 5-7 in Parks' favour.
