Context last updated 14 Sep 2026, 03:20 · Europe/Bucharest

Luka Pavlovic is a strong favorite over Ha Minh Duc Vu, with superior ranking, hard-court form, and serve dominance.

Vu's frequent lopsided losses make a straight-set Pavlovic win and under total games likely. The match winner market offers no value at 1.01, but total aces over 8.5 and Pavlovic 2-0 are better angles.

Context

Pavlovic, ranked 203, is a 196cm right-hander with a strong serve and a career win rate near 60%, though his success has come mostly on clay.
On hard courts this season, Pavlovic has been more reliable, winning 66.7% of his recent matches there, while Vu has struggled with a 33.3% win rate over his last 15 hard-court matches. Pavlovic's first-serve points won on hard courts is 78.9%, which should pressure Vu's weaker return game.
- Pavlovic's last 15 hard-court record: 6-3 (66.7% win rate).
- Vu's last 15 hard-court record: 5-10 (33.3% win rate).
- Pavlovic wins 78.9% of first-serve points on hard courts; Vu wins only 56.1%.
Pavlovic's height and serving power give him a natural advantage in quick points, especially on faster surfaces.
Pavlovic's ace rate on hard courts is more than eight times higher than Vu's overall rate, which could lead to many free points and shorter service games. Vu's first-serve points won is only 56.1%, so he may struggle to hold serve consistently against Pavlovic's aggressive returning.
- Pavlovic averages 10.8 aces per match on hard courts (last 9 matches).
- Vu averages 1.3 aces per match overall (last 15 matches).
- Pavlovic wins 75.8% of first-serve points overall; Vu wins 56.1%.
