Pre-match view

Context last updated 13 Sep 2026, 06:11 · Europe/Bucharest

Osuigwe leads the H2H 2-1 and has a slight edge in hard-court return stats, but Tikhonova's recent hard-court form and serving power keep this close.

Back Osuigwe to win at 1.80 and consider over 20.5 total games.

Context

Osuigwe, 24, is ranked 234 and has a career win rate of 52.5%, with more success on clay than hard courts historically.
Her recent hard-court sample shows a 45.5% win rate and 50.2% of games won, which is better than her overall 33.3% record in the last 15 matches. She also won her first-round match here 6-3 6-0, suggesting she is comfortable on this surface. However, her last five matches include three losses to players ranked outside the top 150, so the form is not consistent.
- Osuigwe's last 15 overall record is 5-10 (33.3%), but on hard courts she is 5-6 (45.5%).
- She won her most recent match 6-3 6-0 against Fernanda Labrana (ranked 463) in the first round of this tournament.
- Her last five matches: W, L, L, L, L, with losses to players ranked 205, 72, 162, and 261.
Tikhonova, 24, is ranked 262 and has a career win rate of 57.1%, with most of her wins on hard courts.
In her last four hard-court matches, she has a 75% win rate and has won 53.2% of games. She won her first-round match here 6-2 6-1 and also beat Nao Hibino and Darja Semenistaja in the previous tournament. However, the sample is very small, and her overall last-15 record is 46.7%, so this trend is not yet reliable.
- Tikhonova's last 4 hard-court matches: W, L, W, W (75% win rate).
- She won her first-round match this week 6-2 6-1 against Maria Florencia Urrutia (ranked 467).
- Her overall last-15 record is 7-8 (46.7%).
The two players have met three times, with Osuigwe winning twice and Tikhonova once.
On hard courts, Osuigwe won in 2022 and 2025, with the most recent meeting a 6-0 7-5 victory. Tikhonova's only win came on clay in 2023. This suggests Osuigwe may have a tactical edge on this surface, but the sample is small and both players have changed since their last meeting.
- H2H: Osuigwe leads 2-1 overall, with both wins on hard courts (2022 and 2025).
- Most recent meeting: 2025-02-23, Osuigwe won 6-0 7-5.
- Tikhonova's only win was on clay in 2023.
