Quick Take

Pre-match view

Context last updated 12 Sep 2026, 22:52 · Europe/Bucharest

Parks is favored due to superior ranking and hard-court serve stats, but her double-fault issues and Lepchenko's competitiveness make the match closer than odds suggest.

Betting value lies in over 8.5 total aces and over 10.5 total double faults, while Parks at 1.45 offers no edge.

Context

Parks, 79th-ranked, is a right-hander with a powerful but erratic serve. Her career first-serve percentage is only 55%, and recent numbers are even lower.
In her last 15 matches, Parks has averaged 7.5 double faults per match and won just 40.9% of second-serve points. On hard courts, those numbers worsen to 8.3 double faults and 40.5% second-serve points won. That gives Lepchenko, a solid returner, repeated looks at break points and short balls.
- Parks' last 15 overall: 7.5 double faults per match, 40.9% second-serve points won.
- Parks' last 11 hard-court matches: 8.3 double faults per match, 40.5% second-serve points won.
- Parks' career first-serve percentage is 55%, and her recent first-serve in is 51.9% overall.
Lepchenko, 181st-ranked, is a left-hander with a two-handed backhand and a long career. She has been more comfortable on clay recently.
In her last seven hard-court matches, Lepchenko has a 2-5 record and has won only 36.2% of return points. That return weakness may prevent her from fully exploiting Parks' serving problems, keeping the match closer than the serve stats alone suggest.
- Lepchenko's last 7 hard-court matches: 2-5 record, 36.2% return points won.
- Lepchenko's last 8 clay-court matches: 4-4 record, 46.8% return points won, showing a clear surface split.
- Lepchenko's overall last 15 matches: 42.2% return points won, but that includes the stronger clay sample.
