Context last updated 24 Jul 2026, 06:14 · Europe/Bucharest

Francesca Jones is a strong favorite to beat Jennifer Ruggeri in the Palermo quarterfinals, with superior clay-court form, a dominant serve, and a lighter workload.

Jones is likely to win in straight sets, and the over 20.5 total games is a solid bet given Ruggeri's three-set history. Avoid the -5.5 game handicap on Jones, as Ruggeri's competitiveness makes a blowout unlikely.
