Quick Take

Pre-match view

Context last updated 13 Jul 2026, 16:00 · Europe/Bucharest

Barton’s superior clay form and first-set dominance give him a moderate edge, but the moneyline is overpriced.

The best value lies in Barton 2-0 at 2.20 and over 9.5 games in set one at 1.91, while Reis Da Silva’s poor deciding-set record makes a 2-1 upset unlikely.

Context

The 2026 Dutch Open main-draw page on 13 July still showed six qualifier spots unnamed, while Barton is scheduled for a 14 July main-draw match.
- Barton's recent form includes a retirement win and a three-set loss, suggesting he has been grinding through matches.
- Reis da Silva is the No. 8 seed and avoided qualifying, so he enters fresher.
In his last five matches, Reis da Silva lost the first set against Budkov Kjaer, Ribecai, Piros, and Dedura.
- His only first-set win in that span came against Milos Karol, ranked 447.
- Barton has won the first set in 10 of his last 15 matches and converts 88% of first-set wins into match victories.
