Ito's weak serve and Yastremska's aggressive return game on grass should produce a relatively short match with few games.

• Ito's last four grass-court losses averaged 15.5 games per match (12, 12, 13, 12), with none exceeding 19 games.
• Yastremska's straight-set wins on grass in 2026 averaged 17.5 games (13 vs Dudeney, 12 vs Bejlek).
• Ito's serve stats (58.8% first-serve points won, 45.4% second-serve points won) are below tour average, leading to quick breaks on grass.

The read

Ito's tendency to drop early service games on grass and Yastremska's quick starts point to a short first set.

• Ito's first-set scores in 2026 grass losses: 2-6, 2-6, 3-6, 6-7(3) – three of four were 8 games or fewer.
• Yastremska's first-set scores in 2026 grass wins: 6-4, 6-1, 6-1 – all under 9.5 games.
• Ito's first-serve points won on grass is likely lower than her career 58.8%, making her vulnerable to early breaks.

• Yastremska's average game differential in 2026 grass wins is +6.5 games (won by 3, 9, 9 games).

• Yastremska has won in straight sets in her last two grass matches and has a 83% first-set win conversion rate.

The read

Ito's poor serving on grass and Yastremska's ability to break early make tiebreaks unlikely.

• Ito has played only one tiebreak in her last 15 matches (on hard court), and none on grass in 2026.
• Yastremska's recent grass matches have been decided in straight sets without tiebreaks (6-4 7-6 vs Dudeney had one, but that was an exception).
• Ito's weak serve on grass reduces the likelihood of holding serve consistently enough to force tiebreaks.
