Quick Take

Pre-match view

Context last updated 15 Jun 2026, 00:26 · Europe/Bucharest

McNally's superior grass pedigree and ranking give her the edge, but Ruzic's hot 2026 grass form and McNally's withdrawal from Birmingham make this a tight matchup.

The moneyline on McNally at 1.35 is overvalued; better value lies in McNally 2-0 (1.80) or over 21.5 total games, with a three-setter likely.

Context

McNally was replaced by Kayla Day before the June 1-7 Birmingham tournament.
- Her last grass match was at Wimbledon 2025, meaning she has no 2026 grass-court match practice.
- She played on clay at Roland Garros until May 24, then had a three-week gap without competitive grass tennis.
Ruzic beat Jovic (rank 19) 6-3 6-4 at Queen's on June 9.
- She also defeated Storm Hunter and Aoi Ito in straight sets on grass this month.
- Her only grass loss in 2026 was to Jovic in a later round, showing consistency.

McNally's superior career grass record and recent top-60 wins give her a moderate edge, but the odds overstate her advantage.
