Quick Take

Pre-match view

Context last updated 31 May 2026, 18:25 · Europe/Bucharest

Alkaya’s dominant hard-court record and strong first-set performances give him a clear edge, but his recent loss and Azkara’s same-venue momentum add uncertainty.

The best value is on Alkaya to win 2-0 at 1.73, while the match winner market at 1.25 is overpriced and should be avoided.

Context

Alkaya’s 2026 hard-court record is 26-10 (72.2%), including wins over Paul Jubb (#313) and Mukund Sasikumar (#517).
- Azkara’s 2026 hard-court record is 4-2, with losses to Patrick Schoen (#704) and Tyler Zink (#325).
- Alkaya’s career hard-court win percentage is 78.2% (115-32) vs Azkara’s 64.7% (44-24).
- Alkaya’s return points won (43%) is higher than Azkara’s (40%), helping him break serve more often.
Alkaya’s career first-set win conversion is 87%, and he won the first set in 10 of his last 15 matches.
- Azkara lost the first set to Eliakim Coulibaly (#330) and Patrick Schoen (#704) in his last three outings.
- Alkaya’s return points win percentage (43%) helps him break early and build first-set leads.
- Azkara’s break point save rate (61.1%) is solid, but he faces more break points against strong returners.
Azkara beat Filip Peliwo (#488) in three sets and lost to Eliakim Coulibaly (#330) in the previous Centurion event.
- Alkaya lost 6-3, 7-6(5) to Yusuke Takahashi (#670) in his only match at the same venue.
- Azkara’s three-set win over Peliwo shows he can handle longer matches on these courts.
- Alkaya’s straight-set loss suggests he may need time to adjust, despite his overall hard-court pedigree.
