Quick Take

Pre-match view

Context last updated 23 Oct 2026, 21:35 · Europe/Bucharest

Two players ranked ten places apart meet in Guangzhou qualifying, and Shubladze's 12-3 hard-court run against Iatcenko's 9-6 makes her the likely winner, even though three of her five recent wins came against players outside the top 300.

Her 1.44 match price and 1.9 for a straight-set win ask more than that record supports. Under 2.5 sets at 1.44 is the one quoted price that holds up.

Context

Shubladze has been the quicker starter of the two, taking the opening set in 11 of those 15 matches.
Shubladze took the opening set 11-4 and the second 12-3 across that 15-match sample, averaging 5.87 games to 3.20 in first sets. Twelve of the 15 finished in straight sets either way, a pattern that matters against an opponent whose own recent matches have also mostly ended in two sets. The sample ends on 4 October, so it describes a run rather than a guaranteed current rhythm.
- 15 completed hard-court matches, 26 Aug–4 Oct 2026: first sets 11-4, second sets 12-3
- Scorelines across that sample: 2-0 in 10 matches, 2-1 in two, 0-2 in two, 1-2 in one
- Averages 5.87 games to 3.20 in first sets and 5.53 to 3.27 in second sets
Iatcenko arrives on a run of results that has mostly gone against her, including a three-set loss in her most recent completed match.
The 12 October defeat to Harmony Tan, ranked 215, came after Iatcenko had won the first set 6-2, and it followed straight-set losses to Lucrezia Stefanini and Erika Andreeva. Her two wins in that six-match stretch were straight-set victories over Dalma Galfi and Suzan Lamens, so the level has not disappeared. This is a results picture only; nothing in the record speaks to fitness or availability.
- 12 Oct 2026: lost to Harmony Tan (No. 215) 2-6 6-4 6-0 after taking the opening set
- 9 Oct 2026: lost 3-6 5-7 to Lucrezia Stefanini (No. 107)
- 5 and 7 Oct 2026: straight-set wins over Suzan Lamens (245) and Dalma Galfi (153)
