The Olbia Challenger is a 125-level ATP event, the second tier of Challenger tennis, and it runs 11-18 October 2026 at the Tennis Club Terranova in Sardinia. Its entry list is headed by former world No. 33 Jaume Munar and features seven Italians, including Federico Cinà and Stefano Travaglia. That makes the field, and the ranking points attached to each round, substantially stronger than at the 50 and 75-level Challengers where players outside the top 350 more often compete. It also sets the level this first-round match is being played at.
- Entry list published with four top-100 players led by Jaume Munar, a former world No. 33
- Main draw confirmed with seven Italians, including Federico Cinà, Stefano Travaglia, Andrea Guerrieri and Francesco Maestrelli
- Tournament runs 11-18 October 2026 at the Tennis Club Terranova

Olbia is an outdoor hard-court event, the surface both players list as their preference. Marrero Curbelo has stayed on hard since July 2026, so his recent match rhythm comes entirely from this surface. Visker's 15-match window includes ten clay-court matches through late August and early September, before he moved to indoor hard in France and then outdoor hard in Spain and Italy. The difference is recent surface exposure: Visker has had roughly two weeks back on hard courts going into this event, while Marrero Curbelo has not changed surface.
- Olbia Challenger matches are played on hard courts
- Marrero Curbelo's 15 tracked matches since July 2026 are all on hard
- Visker's 15-match window contains ten clay-court matches plus three indoor-hard and two hard-court matches
