Quick Take

Pre-match view

Context last updated 19 Sep 2026, 22:16 · Europe/Bucharest

Ibragimova is the deserved favourite on recent form and Saito's severe second-serve/double-fault weakness, but at 1.35 the match-winner price offers no value.

Best angles are Over 9.5 double faults (high confidence), Over 21.5 total games, and tiebreak Yes, with Saito at 3.20 a trap rather than value.

Context

Ibragimova, ranked 166, is a right-hander whose career has been built mainly on clay, with 87 of her 150 career wins on that surface. Saito, ranked 247, has a hard-court base with 69 career wins on the surface.
Ibragimova's recent record is stronger overall, but her last-15 hard-court sample is only three matches, so the edge is not fully proven on this surface. Saito's recent losses include straight-set defeats to lower-ranked opponents, which adds to the uncertainty around her current level.
- Ibragimova is 10-5 in her last 15 matches, including a 6-3 6-2 win over Rina Saigo in the first qualifying round in Seoul.
- Saito is 7-8 in her last 15 matches and has lost four of her last five, including a 6-4 6-1 defeat to Xinxin Yao.
- Ibragimova's last-15 hard-court record is 2-1, a small sample that limits how much can be read into her surface form.
Saito, 247th, has a career first-serve percentage of 67% but her recent serving has been erratic, with 130 double faults across 15 matches.
Ibragimova has converted 51.6% of break points in her last 15 matches, so Saito's serving issues could be costly if they continue. Saito's second-serve points won is only 33.8% in that window, meaning she often starts points at a disadvantage.
- Saito has averaged 8.7 double faults per match in her last 15 matches, with 130 total.
- Saito has won only 33.8% of second-serve points in that window.
- Ibragimova has converted 51.6% of break points in her last 15 matches.
Ibragimova's career wins are heavily clay-weighted (87 of 150), while Saito's are hard-court-weighted (69 of 130).
Ibragimova's recent hard-court sample is only three matches, so her adaptation to the surface is not fully tested. Saito's familiarity with hard courts is an advantage, but her recent results on the surface are mixed.
- Ibragimova has played 12 of her last 15 matches on clay, with a 8-4 record on that surface.
- Saito has played all 15 of her last 15 matches on hard courts, with a 7-8 record.
- Ibragimova's career hard-court wins (32) are far fewer than her clay wins (87).

Ibragimova's stronger recent form and Saito's severe second-serve and double-fault liability on hard give her the edge, but the quoted price is far shorter than the model estimate, so no value exists at 1.35.
