Quick Take

Pre-match view

Context last updated 6 Sep 2026, 15:44 · Europe/Bucharest

Galarneau is favored but overpriced at 1.22 given his mediocre recent hard-court form.

Pankin's strong lower-level record makes him a live underdog. Best value lies in over 21.5 total games and over 5.5 double faults.

Context

Pankin, 421st, has played mostly clay recently and has a 33% win rate on hard courts in his last six matches.
His last-15 hard-court sample shows a 33.3% win rate, 50.7% first-serve in, and 38.3% return points won, all below his clay numbers. This suggests he may struggle to hold serve or create break chances on this surface.
- Pankin's last-15 hard-court record is 2-4 (33.3%).
- His hard-court first-serve in is 50.7% vs 58.6% on clay.
- His hard-court return points won is 38.3% vs 43.4% on clay.
Galarneau, 183rd, has a 53.3% win rate in his last 15 matches and has faced several top-100 players.
His last five matches show a pattern of beating lower-ranked players and losing to higher-ranked ones. Against Pankin, ranked 421st, he may have an edge, but his own inconsistency could keep the match close.
- Galarneau's last-15 record is 8-7 (53.3%).
- In his last five matches, he beat Smith (193) and Prizmic (102) but lost to Svrcina (134), Fearnley (101), and Kopriva (69).
