Quick Take

Pre-match view

Context last updated 30 Aug 2026, 15:33 · Europe/Bucharest

Milic's ranking, H2H win, and longer match profile give him the edge, but Lazarov's games-won percentage keeps it competitive.

The over 21.5 total games is the best value bet, while set-specific markets on Lazarov should be avoided.

Context

Milic, ranked 343, has a 69.4% career win rate and is comfortable on clay with 42 career wins on the surface.
In the last 15 matches, Milic holds a 66.7% win rate compared to Lazarov's 60%, and Milic's total points won percentage is 51.2% versus Lazarov's 53.4%. However, Milic's recent wins include a victory over world No. 168 Francesco Maestrelli, while Lazarov's best win in that span came against No. 364 Eduardo Ribeiro. This suggests Milic has faced and beaten slightly stronger opposition recently, giving him a modest edge in current form.
- Milic's last 15 overall record: 10-5 (66.7%), Lazarov's: 9-6 (60%).
- Milic beat No. 168 Maestrelli in June; Lazarov's best recent win was over No. 364 Ribeiro.
- Milic's total points won in last 15: 51.2%, Lazarov's: 53.4% (slight edge to Lazarov).
Lazarov is a left-hander with a one-handed backhand and a career first-serve percentage of 72%.
In the last 15 matches, Lazarov's first-serve percentage is 68% compared to Milic's 50.2%, and Lazarov wins 48.6% of return points versus Milic's 44.2%. However, Milic wins 66.4% of first-serve points compared to Lazarov's 65.5%, and Milic averages 3.4 aces per match versus Lazarov's 1.0. This creates a contrast: Lazarov may get more first serves in and return better, but Milic's first serve is slightly more potent when it lands.
- Lazarov first-serve in: 68%, Milic: 50.2%.
- Lazarov return points won: 48.6%, Milic: 44.2%.
- Milic first-serve points won: 66.4%, Lazarov: 65.5%; Milic aces per match: 3.4, Lazarov: 1.0.
The two players met once before, in the first round of a Challenger in 2025.
Milic won that match 4-6 6-0 6-2, recovering after losing the first set. He won 65% of first-serve points and converted all three break points he earned, while Lazarov struggled on second serve, winning only 19% of those points. That pattern suggests Milic can exploit Lazarov's second serve, which remains a potential weakness given Lazarov's 43.6% second-serve points won in his last 15 matches.
- H2H: Milic def. Lazarov 4-6 6-0 6-2 on clay in August 2025.
- Milic won 65% of first-serve points and 100% of break points in that match.
- Lazarov won only 19% of second-serve points in that match; his last-15 second-serve points won is 43.6%.
