Context last updated 25 Jul 2026, 09:25 · Europe/Bucharest

Kudermetova's ranking, H2H dominance, and superior serve stats make her the rightful favorite, but the 1.30 moneyline offers no value.

Back her to win 2-0 at 1.73, and consider over 21.5 total games and over 8.5 double faults as the best betting angles.

Context

Kudermetova's last 15 hard-court record: 0-1, winning only 31.6% of games and 33.3% of return points.
- Her only hard-court match in this window was a 6-0 7-6 loss to #33 Sakkari on July 13.
- Career hard-court win rate is 64.7%, but that long-term number may not reflect current form.
In her last five hard-court matches, Yamaguchi lost the first set against Goto, Marino, Koike, and Li, winning it only against Osuigwe.
- Her last 15 hard-court first-serve points won is just 59.3%, making it hard to hold early.
- Kudermetova won the first set 6-0 and 6-1 in their two H2H meetings.
Kudermetova's last 15 double faults per match: 5.9, with 88 in 15 matches.
- Her double-fault rate is consistent across surfaces: 6.3 on clay, 5.6 on grass, 5.0 in her lone hard-court match.
- Yamaguchi's return points won is 45.7% overall, so she can capitalize on second serves.

Kudermetova's H2H dominance, superior ranking, and better overall recent form justify her as favorite, but the odds overstate her win probability given her thin hard-court sample.
