Quick Take

Pre-match view

Context last updated 19 Jul 2026, 09:57 · Europe/Bucharest

Giunta's superior ranking, form, and serve make him a heavy favorite against Dev, who struggles on hard courts with a low first-serve percentage and high double-fault rate.

The match-winner odds are too short to back, but over 5.5 double faults and under 21.5 total games offer better value given Dev's serving frailties and both players' recent match lengths.

Context

Dev retired at 4-1 down in the second set against Aleksandar Tolev on June 21.
- His only match after the retirement was a 7-5, 6-2 loss to Mario Gonzalez Fernandez on July 12.
- No public update confirms full recovery, and the quick return raises durability questions.
Dev's hard-court first-serve percentage is 52.3% over his last 9 matches on the surface.
- He averages 4.1 double faults per hard-court match in that span.
- His second-serve points won drops to 45.3% on hard courts, making him vulnerable in pressure moments.
Giunta lost 7-6(5), 2-6, 7-5 to Ivan Ivanov on July 14, a match lasting over two hours.
- He is scheduled for Segovia qualifying on July 19, giving him only five days between matches.
- His recent hard-court form is 1-2, with both losses coming in the past week.
