• Sonego's recent grass sets: 12, 10, 12, 10 games; Navone's clay sets often tight but grass unknown.

The read

Sonego's grass experience and H2H pattern suggest he'll start strong, leveraging his serve to take the opener.

• Sonego won first set in both H2H meetings (7-5, 6-4).
• Navone's first-set win conversion is 83%, but that's heavily clay-skewed; on grass he's unproven.
• Sonego's recent grass form: competitive loss to Shelton (7-5 6-3) and win over Jianu.

• Navone's ace rate is only 1.7%, but on grass even low ace hitters can get a few.
• Grass surface amplifies ace counts; Sonego alone could hit 6-8 aces based on his rate.
